About 30 years ago, MJ Zimmer's sister made her a stained glass window that said "MJ's Place." MJ decided right then and there that if she ever had a creative business, it would be called "MJ's Place."
Today that business exists between Carbondale and Murphysboro. Owner and Carbondale native, MJ Zimmer, is an independent floral designer specializing in silk and fresh-cut floral; seasonal theme and party decorating; unique decorating for your home, office, storefront, wedding or special event.

MJ also devotes many hours designing sympathy and memorial flowers for her clients and their loved ones.
MJ's method of doing business is unique in that she comes to you. "We visit our clients to assess their needs and return to our shop to design the pieces appropriate for the client's particular situation or occasion. We also invite our clients to our shop by appointment and stand behind our work 100%!"
